Ishak Ibrahim

Ishak Ibrahim is a researcher and advocate for freedom of belief and religious minority rights at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR), where he heads the Equality and Non-Discrimination Program. His work encompasses desk research, fieldwork, team management, and media outreach.
Ibrahim is the lead researcher behind pivotal reports, including Clerical Democracy, Besieging Freedom, According to Which Customs?, Grounds on Security Closed, A Death Foretold, and Parliament and Religious Issues. His expertise bridges human rights advocacy, policy analysis, and journalism. He previously contributing to Watani Newspaper and worked extensively with civil society organizations.
A non-resident fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP) for two years, he has published analytical articles on governance, sectarianism, and pluralism. Ibrahim frequently participates in international conferences and workshops on peace-building, social coexistence, and pluralism.
He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University.
